Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
The course is being delivered over four mornings in Wexford Mental Health Association on 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th March from 9.30AM to 1.30PM each day.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a self-management tool that can help individuals take more control over their own well-being and recovery, recognising that people are the experts on themselves.
A WRAP is a guide that we can refer to daily especially in times of difficulty. It is a tool for learning more about ourselves and the things that help us recover and stay well.
WRAP was originally developed for people who have experience of significant mental health issues. However, it can be helpful to anyone with an interest in better planning and managing their mental health and wellbeing – even if they have never experienced significant mental illness.
To gain the benefits of WRAP you must be able to complete the two full days training.
Places on this course are very limited, so if interested please call Theresa on 053 9140610 – Monday to Friday 9.30AM-1.30PM. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
