What an amazing few weeks for Wexford Mental Health Association’s Discover Recover Theatre Project. Now in its eight year, it recently finished a run of 8 live performances in both the Presentation Centre Enniscorthy, and the Theatre Royal Waterford.
The play A Face in the Crowd, and the follow up school workshop, was seen by just over 823 students including 40 third level students from the Dept. of Health Sciences WIT, Waterford and 32 Youthreach students.
The project continues to breakdown barriers facilitating mental health workshops post-performance for Youthreach and in special needs schools and third level institutions.
None of this would have been possible without the ongoing support of Wexford Mental Health Association and our main sponsors on this current run, Connecting for life, Healthy Ireland, Pobal, and Mental Health Ireland.
Well done to everyone involved.
